  • New Equipment Expands Urological Services in Muskoka

    Thanks to donor support for a state-of-the-art surgical laser, more advanced kidney stone surgeries are being performed in the operating room at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare’s (MAHC) South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site.

  • HDMH Emergency Department Flooring Work Underway

    Flooring replacement work is underway once again in the Emergency Department at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) Site.

    The cast room and adjacent hallway in department will remain temporarily closed until February 26, 2018.

    Capital Plan Development Task Force Update #9/10

    The Capital Plan Development Task Force met on Dec. 11 and reconvened after the holidays on Jan. 15.

    The task force discussed community consultation and agreed to arrange an evening for the public to make presentations through delegations to the task force. More details will follow.

    Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC), through the North Simcoe Muskoka Local Health Integration Network (NSM LHIN), is pleased to announce up to $815,500 in one-time funding for MAHC’s current year that ends March 31, 2018. The one-time funding will help to support operating pressures and reduces MAHC’s operating shortfall for fiscal year 2017-18.
