Members understood the report is intended to provide an order of magnitude of the potential operating costs of each model based on the programs and services to be delivered.

Model Evaluation Criteria: The task force confirmed that its evaluation of the models would include equally-weighted criteria in five areas: patient- and family-centered care, financial, alignment with health system directions, municipal impact and community support.
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare’s (MAHC) Capital Plan Development Task Force has reached an important point in its future planning work, coming to consensus on the details of the programs and services proposed in each of the models.
