At Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC), our commitment to enhancing healthcare in our community is taking a significant stride forward.  We are on the path to an important submission to the government to rebuild our local hospitals. 

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is sharing an update on the commitment to take the time needed to reconsider the hospital redevelopment proposal presented during a series of community meetings in January and February. Thank you to everyone who has participated in the dialogue, asked questions and provided suggestions.

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) has quickly organized a second meeting in Bracebridge to take place on Monday, February 12, 2024 regarding the hospital redevelopment proposal.  This second meeting affords an opportunity to those who were unable to attend the previous meeting due to capacity challenges..

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is releasing an important statement to reinforce its commitment to further consideration of the hospital redevelopment proposal. The Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare team understands the importance of carefully considered hospital redevelopment plans, not only to our communities but also to our healthcare team.

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is relocating the Made-in-Muskoka Healthcare Community Chat in Bracebridge on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 to the Bracebridge Sportsplex Auditorium at 110 Clearbrook Trail. 

As hospital redevelopment continues to evolve, Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is sharing the details of the proposed Made-in-Muskoka Healthcare system, a different model of care for the future that positions Muskoka’s new hospitals to enhance the quality of local healthcare and bring new services to the area and beyond the walls of the hospitals.

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is hosting a series of community chats across the region, both in-person and virtually, starting January 29, 2024, to introduce the Made-in-Muskoka Healthcare system of the future.

The past year has been an exciting progression of Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare’s capital redevelopment planning to replace our aging hospital sites in Bracebridge and Huntsville with two new hospitals in the future.

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has supported the selection of 300 Pine Street as the future location of a new hospital in Bracebridge.
