Essential, Planned Power Outage at HDMH on February 26
We are connecting the under-construction MRI Suite to the power system at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH). To do this, we are shutting down the emergency back-up power system for four (4) hours on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 8 p.m.
During this outage window, HDMH will have limited capacity including the following changes to service:
Rest assured our teams will be focused on providing safe, high-quality care to our current inpatients during the outage. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Patients and visitors are to wear a mask while receiving care, and in high-risk areas such as all inpatient units, Emergency Department, waiting areas and outpatient services. MAHC team members are wearing masks when interacting directly with patients. Please put on a mask from the supply provided and wear it properly covering your nose and mouth.

Outpatient services provided by MAHC at the Almaguin Highlands Health Centre include:
Parking is available at the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare hospital sites using an easy and convenient "pay-on-foot" system. Visitors take a ticket upon entering the parking lot and then validate the ticket and pay for parking prior to exiting. All money collected through parking revenue supports direct patient care, and helps to offset the cost of parking lot maintenance, including snow removal. There is free parking at Almaguin Highlands Health Centre in Burk's Falls.

Parking passes with in and out privileges are available for those making repeat visits to the hospital. Day, weekly and monthly passes can be purchased directly from the pay-on-foot station in the hospital lobby. Parking passes are non-refundable. Lost or stolen passes cannot be replaced.
