MAHC Welcomes Two New Board Directors

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is pleased to announce the recent election of two new Directors to MAHC’s skills-based volunteer Board of Directors.

At the annual meeting of the members of the corporation, held virtually on August 6, 2020, John Sisson, recently retired Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Bracebridge, and Tim Ellis, the Superintendent of Business and Chief Financial Officer for Trillium Lakelands District School Board, were appointed to the Board. Cameron Renwick, who has been a Board Director for the past seven years, is now Chair of the Board, and Peter Deane and Moreen Miller are Vice Chairs.

Further, with the 2020-21 elections within the Credentialed Staff Association, Credential Staff Vice President Dr. Deb Harrold is welcomed to the Board, joining Professional Staff President Dr. Kristen Jones as an ex-officio member.

The 2020 annual report, audited financial statements for the 2019-2020 fiscal year, bylaw revisions, and a recording of the 2020 annual meeting is also posted on the website, in addition to the Celebration of Excellence held in June to recognize and celebrate MAHC’s staff and physicians.
