Important COVID-19 Information
Elective Surgery & Procedures Postponed
In line with provincial direction, effective Monday, April 12, 2021, MAHC has been directed to cancel scheduled, non-emergency surgeries and procedures. Surgical Services is currently restricted to urgent/emergent surgical and endoscopy cases. Affected patients will be contacted directly. If you are not contacted, your procedure is proceeding as planned.
Visitor Restrictions
MAHC is restricting general visitation at both sites effective January 14, 2021 until further notice. Exceptions for visiting include special situations and compassionate circumstances (palliative, critical patients).
Screening of Everyone Entering the Hospitals
Your hospitals remain vigilant in surveillance and monitoring of COVID-19. Expect active screening of everyone at the entrances, including questions about symptoms and travel, and a requirement to wear a hospital-issued mask for the entirety of the visit.
COVID-19 Assessment Centre & Testing
MAHC operates an Assessment Centre in Bracebridge. Testing is by appointment only by calling 1-888-383-7009 to book a COVID-19 test. Other testing options are also promoted on our website. You can also complete a self-assessment or contact Telehealth for screening at 1-866-797-0000.
