Dialysis Clinic
The hemodialysis (dialysis) unit cares for stable patients six days per week. Patients are referred to hemodialysis through the Regional Kidney Care Program Simcoe Muskoka at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.
The unit can care for six people at any one time, and offers a morning and afternoon shift from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The interdisciplinary team includes registered nurses and registered practical nurses who are skilled in renal care, a pharmacist, dietitian, social worker and nephrologist.
