Your Voice Matters

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) is committed to providing outstanding integrated health care to our communities, delivering best patient outcomes with exemplary standards and compassion.  We want to ensure our health care services are consistent with the needs of the patients, families and communities that we serve.  While our programs and services evolve, our priority stays the same — continuous improvement to ensure a safe, high-quality care experience.  This is why we invite patients upon discharge to complete electronic surveys as an important feedback tool.  Many different patient experience surveys are in use across the organization to improve the quality of care and overall patient experience.  Completion of a survey is voluntary and survey results help to identify where we are doing well and highlight where we may have opportunities to improve the care and services we provide.

MAHC has partnered with Qualtrics to administer the patient experience survey based on guidance from the Ontario Health Association and to remain consistent with our regional hospital partners.  Qualtrics offers patients a user-friendly survey experience that is confidential, anonymous and secure, and fully compliant with federal and provincial privacy legislation, which governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal health information within the health sector.

We appreciate the feedback that is provided to us through this survey process and thank patients and family members for their time and participation in this important quality improvement initiative.
